Commenting on the appointments, Diane Haigh, director of architecture and design review at CABE, said:

“I am delighted to have been able to appoint such a distinguished group of new members to CABE’s design review panels. Between them they bring a vast range of experience and understanding to the scrutiny of the design proposals that come to CABE. We will also be working with them to ensure that good design standards are not compromised during the economic downturn, so that we do not build a generation of buildings that are later regretted.”
