Deadline for entries is 5pm on Friday 13 November 2009. Judges will shortlist entrants. Short listed entrants must be available to attend an interview during the week commencing 14-18th December 2009 at CABE’s office in central London. Successful scholars will be informed by email by 18th December 2009.
Up to eight scholarships will be awarded. Entries will be judged on their merit so one or more of the areas of study may not be reflected in the awards made. The judges’ decision is final.
Scholars must submit detailed proposals and costs for the project before funding is released.
Travel must be completed by 1 October 2010.
All travel must be booked through CABE’s nominated travel agent.
If you are travelling in Europe you will not be permitted to fly if a more sustainable option is viable.
The CABE Space mentors will help scholars develop detailed plans for their travel. They will help identify good practice in the scholar’s chosen field but will not help with practical travel and accommodation arrangements or make contacts on behalf of the scholar.
CABE Space reserves the right to withdraw scholarships or recover monies spent in the event that any of the requirements set out here are not met.
Acceptance of these terms is a condition to entry into the scholarship programme. Scholars will be asked to agree to countersign these terms as acknowledgement that they have read and accepted these terms.
